I do commission for individuals of horses, horses and riders, domestic animals, wild animals, houses and barns and landscapes.

The prices are based on a charge of $2.00 per square inch for the finished work, unframed. I work in watercolor, colored pencil, graphite pencil, ink, acrylic and combinations of these mediums. I love the different kinds of paper available and the different effects, different papers can make on the final piece of art. All of these possibilities are discussed with the client. I prefer to work from my own photographs and from life if possible. If not, I can use material provided by the client. Any extra travel, accommodations or materials are charged extra in addition to the base price. Excellent framing can make or break a piece of art. I offer professional framing at reasonable rates in addition to the base price. I submit a sketch for approval or changes to the client. After we agree on the sketch, I will do the finished drawing in about 4 to 6 weeks depending on the complexity of the work. I usually ship via FedEx, shipping and insurance is paid for by the client.  Shown here is a recent commission of two horses, with the reference photos.
